Smile

SMILE is a friendship group for migrant women that began in October 2011.  We meet in the Salvation Army Hall (Kent St) every Thursday from 10 am – 12 noon during school terms.

We have a crèche so babies and children are welcome.  We learn so much through growing friendships with women from more than ten different countries.

Our activities include craft, cooking, discussions on different topics, going out for coffee and, there is opportunity to improve English through conversation and informal lessons.  When the weather is warm we enjoy weekend family picnics.
